Job Responsibilities:

• Coordination of interior design projects throughout all stages, from documentation analysis, project implementation and installation to financial settlement of the project.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Management of the project preparation team.
• Coordination with purchasing and logistics department.
• Plans, supervises and tracks production of project material
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Participation with preparation of custom furniture fabrication and interior furnishings procurement
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
• Fiscal responsibility of assigned projects.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Progress updates to internal company management
• Works closely with the Estimating Department to develop project proposals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in implementing turnkey interior projects (preferred ship interiors)
• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work. (Architectural, construction or shipbuilding)
• Familiar with currently available shipbuilding finishes IMO etc.
• Knowledge of vessel regulatory agencies and agreements – SOLAS, MED USPH, DOJ ADA, USCG
• Fabrication and design experience.
• Ability to coordinate marine outfitting construction work
• Knowledge of AUTO CAD, MS Office, MS Project
• Good knowledge of English both verbally and written
• Negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks.
• Experience working with time sensitive projects.
• The position will require extensive global travel for work onboard ships and various offices
