Baltec Marine Sp. z o.o. is currently looking to Document Controller to our expanding team. Baltec Marine is continuing to grow and win new projects all over the world and due to our continued success we have an opening for the following position based in office in Gdańsk, Poland.
Technical Document Controller
Main job responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing on data and documents
- Ensuring that documents are properly created, signed, updated, revised
- Checking that documents are correctly stored, archived and backed up
- Retrieval and delivery of documents on request
- Formal checking of documents
- Review of project deliverables
- Administration of cloud-based data storage solutions
- Developing procedures to keep documents in order
- Training employees to keep procedures and order in documents archive
- Cooperation with Quality assurance personnel and managers
Requirements:
- Good skills and experience in data and documents storage and management
- Knowledge on technical documentation, ship classification society rules as well as material, components and systems certificates
- Technical background, education will be an advantage
- Analytical way of thinking
- Experience in Sharefile and PDM systems will be an advantage
- Experience from shipbuilding/marine/offshore industry will be an advantage
- Good written and verbal communication in English
